Senior Fullstack Developer

We’re looking for an experienced full-stack engineer with strong technical chops and a desire to work proactively and responsibly on a project with high impact. On the average day you might work on a new feature to improve user's messaging through the site, optimize SQL queries to improve API performance, or integrate our system with a new service to expand functionality. Responsibilities:
Build and extend product features, both in the frontend and backend
Help improve code quality and test coverage over time 
-Create a robust data infrastructure and capabilities for the broader team 
-Document and diagram flows, features and software architecture components 
-Work on UI and API performance optimization 
-Help keeping up to date addressing tech debt 
-Take ownership of each project, from first commit to release and follow-up

Requirements
-7+ years of work experience 
-Strong communication skills and autonomy, collaborative and a good team player 
-Focus on the details and enjoy getting the little things right 
-Strong understanding of software development best practices 
-Passion for using technology to create positive change in the world 
-Willingness to work hard, take ownership and responsibility for scope of work 
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to have
-Experience in data Engineering 
-Experience in philanthropy (as a nonprofit professional, at a foundation, or at a company serving nonprofits or donors) 
-Experience in fintech or consumer tech
